The week got away from me, but I really wanted to post some harmonica music last week. Music performed by my grandfather. Last week was his birthday; he passed away almost 6 years ago. I recorded his playing onto a CD 8 years ago. I just finally played it for Bean, and he smiled and waved his arms toward the radio. I so wish they could have met each other.
My limited online skills won't let me post those CD recordings here, but I've had this song in my head quite a bit lately; Springtime in the Rockies. He loved to belt out this tune, once he got going! Imagine this song sung faster, loudly, and with a slight German accent.
Once again I'll say I love you, when da birds sing all da day...
We miss you, Grandpa.

We surely do miss Kelton's great grandfather! He certainly had his own unique sound ( quite different than the original). We are so happy that his music will live on! Thanks, Gina for remembering and sharing his talent with your Bean! Music can be his life too!
