Greetings from the (currently frosty) Pacific NW - Like your blog - love your chickens - I had a conversation with a friend one time about eating one's own chickens - I replied, mortified, that "I don't eat my friends" - whereas he replied "We don't name our chickens"
I admire what you're doing - I think if I had to process my own food, we'd all be eating vegetables here :-)
I see we both like Terry Tempest Williams (that's how I found your blog), Farmgirl Fare, and cats, so I'll probably "see you around" - stop by & see our little farm if you have time.
